While these models are revolutionary and highly impressive, they are not sentient or super intelligent.

ChatGPT and similar models rely on hundreds of billions of data inputs processed through language models. They excel at simulating conversational interactions but lack sentience. Nevertheless, these tools mark the beginning of a fascinating AI era, setting the stage for a transformative technological landscape. With this understanding, let's explore the new AI tools on the horizon.

AI in Software Development

GitHub is rolling out a new GPT-4-powered version of its Copilot coding assistant, which will now be involved in every phase of the developer life cycle. Originally based on GPT-3, Copilot autocompletes lines or sections of code and generates code from plain language requests. The updated version includes a chatbot integrated into development tools like VS Code and Visual Studio, which understands the user's coding environment and offers tailored advice.
